Man Shot And Killed In Chester
CHESTER, Pa. (CBS) -- One person is dead after gunfire erupted in Chester, Delaware County.
The shooting happened just after 7 p.m. Friday in near 21st Street and Melrose Avenue.
Police say a 22-year-old man was returning home when two gunmen opened fire, shooting the man multiple times in the head and torso. Authorities say the suspects then fled west on West 21st Street.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators say the gunmen were wearing dark clothing and hoodies to conceal their identity.
There were no initial arrests and there was no word of any motive.
