Man Rescued After Car Plunges Into Delaware River At Penn's Landing

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A man was rescued by crews after his car plunged into the Delaware River early Wednesday morning.
The incident happened at about 8 a.m. on Christopher Columbus Boulevard near Fitzwater Street at Penn's Landing.
According to investigators, the 44-year-old driver somehow lost control of his pick-up and landed into three feet of water in the Delaware River.
Crews removed the man from his pick-up and he was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital to be treated for neck and head pain.
Investigators have not determined yet how or why the truck ended up in the river.
The incident remains under police investigation.
