Man Punched In Face During Altercation Aboard SEPTA Bus

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are searching for several suspects in connection with an assault aboard a SEPTA bus early Tuesday morning.
The incident happened at about 12:30 a.m. on a SEPTA night owl bus on Broad Street near Wyoming Avenue.
According to investigators, a group of four males became involved in a verbal altercation with another male on the bus.
Authorities say during the altercation, one of the males from the group and the male by himself became physically involved. At some point, the male by himself was punched in the eye.
After the assault, the four males jumped off the bus and ran away.
The male who was punched was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center for treatment and evaluation.
SEPTA and Philadelphia police are currently investigating the incident. Anyone with information is urged to call 911.
