1 Killed In Summerdale House Fire
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police are investigating the cause of a fire that killed a man in Northeast Philadelphia early Friday morning.
The fire broke out at about 1:30 a.m. inside a twin home in the 4700 block of Roosevelt Boulevard near Langdon Street in the city's Summerdale section.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, they were met with heavy coming from the home's second floor.
Firefighters were able to bring the fire under control in about an hour and discovered the man's body shortly afterwards.
The identity of the victim was not immediately known. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
