Service Resumes After Man Killed By NJ Transit Train Near Pennsauken

PENNSAUKEN, NJ (CBS) -- New Jersey Transit police are investigating a fatality on their Atlantic City Rail Line.
NJT Spokesperson John Durso Jr. confirms an adult male trespasser was killed at the Church Road Crossing in Pennsauken, just outside of Cherry Hill.
The incident happened just before 5 p.m. on Tuesday evening. Police have not released the identity of the trespasser, nor are they giving any information regarding the nature of the accident.
There were no injuries to any of the 30 people traveling on the Philadelphia-bound train.
Atlantic City rail service was at first suspended between Atlantic City and Philadelphia, but resumed around 8 p.m. Tuesday night.
Rail service is expected to resume for the Wednesday morning rush hour.
