Man Gunned Down Execution-Style Outside His North Philadelphia Home
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are searching for four gunmen who executed a man just steps from his home in North Philadelphia.
It happened just before midnight Tuesday near 8th and Ontario Streets, where police say they found a 25-year-old man shot multiple times.
He was rushed to Temple Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Investigators found private surveillance video that shows four men as the shooters. Police say the gunmen turned the corner and confronted the victim, and then shot him multiple times at point-blank range before fleeing the scene in a white minivan.
Police say at least seven shots were fired from three different guns.
Authorities say the victim lived several houses away from where he was killed.
