Man Gunned Down During Robbery Attempt In Nicetown-Tioga
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are investigating the shooting death of a man that happened early Monday morning.
The shooting happened shortly after midnight in the 1900 block of Dennie Street in the city's Nicetown-Tioga section.
Investigators say a 57-year-old man was shot during what appears a robbery attempt.
The victim was pronounced dead upon arrival at Albert Einstein Medical Center.
So far, police have not made any arrests and a motive in the deadly shooting remains under investigation.
