Man Found Assaulted After House Fire In North Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Authorities say a man who was found inside his home after a fire in North Philadelphia appears to have been assaulted.
Flames broke out around 5 a.m. Sunday at a home along the 2000 block of North Stillman Street.
Fire crews arrived to find heavy smoke billowing from a window of the home.
Once the fire was placed under control, authorities says firefighters found a 52-year-old man inside the home who had been assaulted.
He was taken to Temple University Hospital. There were no initial details on his injuries.
The incident in under investigation.
