Man Dies Of Apparent Gunshot Wound In Delaware
WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) -- New Castle County police are investigating the apparent shooting death of a man in Wilmington.
Delaware State Police who were called to a Sunoco gas station at Robinson Lane and Maryland Avenue about 9:15 p.m. Sunday for a suspicious person found an injured man lying in the snow on a sidewalk.
Police say the man was taken to Christiana Hospital where he died of an apparent gunshot wound. Authorities have not released the man's identity pending notification of his family.
Police were interviewing witnesses and collecting evidence.
