Man Dies After Being Shot In Southwest Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A man is dead after being shot in Southwest Philadelphia on Wednesday night.
The shooting occurred around 9:25 p.m. at 6400 Elmwood Avenue, when a 20-year-old man was shot multiple times in the torso by two black males. One is described as having a light complexion, about 6'2" tall, and was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Both suspects were last seen heading eastbound on Reedland.
The victim was transported to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation is underway.
