Man Arrested For Multiple Robberies In Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A Philadelphia man has been arrested and charged with multiple robberies after attempting to sell a stolen ring back to the jewelry store it came from.
On Dec. 14, police say Terrence Harper, 39, entered the Golden Rose Jewelry store located at 3641 Germantown Avenue and attempted to sell back the ring, which was recognized as having been stolen in a previous robbery.
Employees at the store called police and Harper was immediately arrested.
After an investigation, Harper was also identified as the suspect in multiple robberies, including two robberies at a North Broad Street Family Dollar store and the Dec. 18 robbery of the Whisper Inn on Ogontz Avenue.
Harper, of the 7700 block of Temple Road, has been charged with multiple robberies and related offenses.
