Major Delays On PA Turnpike Eastbound After 7-Vehicle Accident
LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TWP. (CBS) - According to police, there are major delays on the Pennsylvania Turnpike eastbound between Willow Grove and Bensalem in Bucks County after a seven-vehicle accident closed the roadway down Wednesday afternoon.
The Turnpike was reopened around 4 p.m. Police say to expect at 6-7 mile delays.
Police say the accident was caused by a ladder that came off a vehicle. Three people were taken to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
