Made In America Takes Over The Parkway

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Thousands of people are expected on the Ben Franklin Parkway over the next two days for the third annual "Made in America" music festival.
Massive equipment and a huge security presence are in place as Philadelphia gears up to host the weekend festival. There will be 50 acts on four stages during the two days of live music.
It took several days to transform the Parkway into a four-stage music venue, and there was still some final preparation before the noontime gate opening.
Neighbors forced to walk by detours around the area took the commotion in stride.
"Everything happens on the Parkway, bike races, 4th of July, you get used to it," said a woman who lives nearby.
"It gets pretty crowded, and people steal each other's parking spaces, but other than that it's a good time," another neighbor said. "It's not really my type of music, but whatever goes. I like Cher."
Cher is not among the acts lined up by founder Jay Z, but well-known acts such as Kanye West are. You'll be able to hear them from the attractions on the parkway, most of which are open through the festival.
