Made In America Festival Underway

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Made In America is underway on the parkway. The two-day music festival is taking over the parkway and putting Philadelphia at the center of the music universe.
One of the goals, the mayor said repeatedly, is to show off the city and, especially, the parkway.

Well, mission accomplished, at least with Shameka Glover who came up with friends and family from Washington, DC for the two days of music.
"I had no idea that this jewel was down here, in downtown Philly. Philly is such a beautiful city, it's a great mix of the old and new and now that I know this beautiful park is here, we'll definitely be back," said Glover.
Early arrivers staked out the best spots, forget front and center stage, the smart people set up their blankets in the grass, under the shady trees here along the parkway, enjoying a gorgeous day of music.
