Losing Sleep Over Allergies

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - When we think about allergies, we think of sniffles and sneezes, watery eyes and a good deal of irritation. One of the things we don't think about is losing sleep…quality sleep.
Deep sleep is affected by this condition. It may be far more important than we previously thought.
According to the University of Chicago study, a lack of sleep can affect the blood sugar. Diabetics who do not get enough sleep actually have a more difficult time with controlling their blood sugar. This is a great example of how closely interwoven our health is.
Certain conditions can effect our overall health and impact us in many ways. Seasonal allergies are just one example.
