Looking At The Flyers Offseason
By Matt Leon
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Believe it or not, Flyers training camp is a little bit more than two months away (opens September 22nd).
It's been an active off-season for the squad, they brought on board defenseman Luke Schenn, said good bye to forward James van Riemsdyk and added some veteran depth to both the front and back lines.
While it has been business as usual, it's actually an uncertain time for the Flyers and all of the NHL as the current CBA expires in September and some sort of work stoppage is possible.
KYW's Matt Leon talked a little hockey in July with Sarah Baicker of CSNPhilly.com and got her thoughts on the league's labor situation, the Flyers off-season moves and who turned heads at the Flyers recent prospect camp.
