Locals Line Up For Shot At Mega Jackpot
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The gold-paved road to financial freedom could be as close as your nearest convenience store.
The multi-state MegaMillions jackpot is a whopping $312 million for annuity, with a cash payout of more than $198 million for Friday night's drawing.
If a player matches all five numbers and the mega ball, it would be the biggest payout since January when two winning tickets split a $380 million jackpot.

In northeast Philadelphia, residents are hoping to cash in on some recent good luck. Many say the Bi Rite Deli on Red Lion Road is the place to buy tickets. The deli has sold two $250,000 winners in the past two months.
Many in line say if they win the jackpot they will buy a couple luxury items, pay off bills and help those in need.
"If I hit (the jackpot) tonight I'd be in Harrisburg tomorrow morning, telling them to give me my money," said one customer.
Many said they would quit their jobs.
