By Molly Daly
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Delaware Valley music fans are in for a treat on April 27th, when The Hooters make a rare appearance at the Electric Factory.
This month, the Hooters are celebrating 33 1/3 years of making music. Drummer David Uosikkinen says the band never broke up just took a break from playing live, until a local rock deejay suggested a reunion in 2001.
"It's been a lot of years. And we've lasted longer than a lot of marriages, certainly, mine," says David.

The love of their fans has endured, too, many of whom were won over when the Hooters regularly played at a long-gone South Street club, Grendel's Lair.
"We had this thing called The Hooters Dance Party we used to do on Monday nights, and it started off with, I think, 30 people, and by the time we ended our run there, there was a line down the street," David explains.
Among the band's longtime fans: State Senator Daylin Leach, who sponsored legislation proclaiming April 30th Hooters Day in Pennsylvania.
