Local Brewery Kicks Off Football Season With 'Chip Kelly Burger'
WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) – A local brewery chain is getting into the spirit of football season with a new burger.
Iron Hill will be serving up a "Chip Kelly Burger" in honor of the new Eagles coach at each of its 10 locations in the Philadelphia area on Sunday, September 8th and Monday, September 9th.
The burger includes Oregon bleu cheese ("a nod to Kelly's previous gig as head coach of the Oregon Ducks"), as well as red onion confit, crushed potato chips and a mushroom spread.
"Every year, we look forward to the start of football season, and with a new head coach running the show we're more excited than ever," says founding partner of Iron Hill Kevin Finn. "The Chip Kelly Burger is our little way of welcoming him to town with a good meal and high hopes for a great first season with us."
The droolworthy burger will go for $13.50 and is available during lunch and dinner at all 10 locations.
