Local Author Uses Bible to Encourage Women
A Philadelphia woman has written a book detailing the way women can and should help one another.
KYW's Lynne Adkins reports Reverend Geneva Hackett's book is called It's Showtime! A Reflection of a Titus 2 Woman.
"In the book of Titus in the Bible, the women who were Titus, 2 women were seasoned women and they had something to contribute to the younger women to help them with all areas of their lives."
She says any seasoned woman can be a mentor for a younger woman in areas ranging from education to marriage to children, and it's important because they understand the emotions, situations and life experiences females face and can help them avoid the pitfalls along the road.
