Local American Red Cross Chapter Gets New Interim CEO
The new interim head of the local Red Cross says her job is to keep things moving at a good clip.
KYW's Karin Phillips reports that Donna Palmieri of North Wales, Pa. (Montgomery County) is the new interim CEO of the local Red Cross, where she has spent 30 years. She began as a volunteer, then became a staff member and most recently Chief Operating Officer.

Palmieri remains the COO in addition to serving as interim CEO:

Tom Foley left July 30th after almost six years as CEO:
"The whole focus is full steam ahead and knowing that over 3.8-million people that are in our Red Cross chapter area that they can count on us and we will be there 24/7."
