LeSean McCoy Not Among NFL's 'Most Feared', Peterson Is
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The Eagles had the second most potent offense in the NFL, the leading rusher, and the quarterback with the top quarterback rating. According to a poll of NFL players, however, no one on the Eagles offense strikes fear into the heart of opponents.
ESPN conducted a poll of 320 NFL players, and asked them which player in the league they 'fear' the most, and there wasn't an Eagles player among the top seven.
The most feared player in the league is Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh who had 19% of the vote, followed by teammate, wide receiver Calvin Johnson, with 18.1% of the vote. The Texans' JJ Watt was third in the voting, with 7.5%, the 49ers Patrick Willis, the Broncos' Peyton Manning, the Steelers' James Harrison, and Vikings running back Adrian Peterson.
Peterson makes the list even though he finished behind Eagles running back LeSean McCoy for the NFL rushing title this season.
