LeSean McCoy Takes Jab At DeMarco Murray
By Ray Boyd
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- LeSean McCoy has just been too quiet for too long. We needed something from McCoy as we head into Week 1 of the regular season, right?
Whether we needed it or not, McCoy is stirring the pot with the Eagles once again, this time attacking his replacement.
In an upcoming interview with GQ, McCoy shared his take on DeMarco Murray.
In an excerpt that was posted on Tuesday, McCoy said "I think Murray's good, but I don't see him as competition as far as the best backs. I like my game a lot."
Murray was only the rushing champion a year ago during a historically impressive campaign, but sure, maybe he isn't among the best backs in the NFL.
And maybe Rex Ryan is a better coach than Chip Kelly....LeSean?
"[Ryan] lets you be a man. He won't say, 'Be in bed at ten o'clock,' or check your sleep. He's just like: Be professionals," McCoy told the magazine.
McCoy has been all talk since he was traded to Buffalo and every time we hear that he's done talking about the Eagles, he talks about the Eagles.
Let's hope that by December 13, when McCoy returns to Philadelphia, he'll be ready to let his play do the talking for him.
