LeSean McCoy Confident Heading Into Game vs. 49ers
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Eagles have their eyes set on a 4-0 start as they prepare to take on the San Francisco 49ers. The Eagles are coming off a close call win against division rival Washington.
One of the keys to the attack on a weekly basis for the Birds is running back LeSean McCoy. The Eagles offensive weapon joined CBS3's Beasley Reece to give his thoughts on the Eagles match up with the 49ers and more.
"They're a good team. They really are," McCoy said of the 49ers. "They make plays on both sides of the ball."
One of their play-makers happens to be McCoy's opposite number, Frank Gore.

"We really got to watch Frank Gore as a running back," McCoy said. "He's been very productive his whole career." Gore has not put up the same numbers this season that he is accustomed to, but the Eagles do not want to let him get into a rhythm in the run game.
The 49ers in recent years have made their name on defense. McCoy does see some opportunity for the offense.
"The [49ers] secondary is not what it used to be," McCoy said.
San Francisco's 1-2 record makes them a dangerous opponent. Their expectations for the season will make a 1-3 start unacceptable and McCoy is aware that their desperation will be a factor.
"It will be tough to go 1-3 for them," McCoy said. "We know we'll get all they have, but it will be a good game. I think we'll pull off a win."
