Laundromat Worker Attacked With Hammer, Robbed In South Philly

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are searching for two suspects who attacked a laundromat worker with a hammer Wednesday morning.
The incident happened at about 10 a.m. at Kin's Laundromat in the 1800 block of E. Moyamensing Avenue in South Philadelphia.
According to investigators, two suspects attacked a worker with a hammer and also robbed the victim.
Authorities say the victim was able to run out of the store, bloodied, and was rushed to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in an unknown condition.
After attacking the victim, the two suspects ran out of the store and remain on the loose.
It was not immediately known what the suspects took from the victim.
