A Look At Presidential Polling In Pennsylvania
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Pennsylvania is a battleground state, that often helps determine the election.
"Right now Hillary Clinton has between a 5.5 and a 6 percentage point lead," said Franklin and Marshall College pollster and political analyst Terry Madonna.
He said even though that's a large lead, Donald Trump has been able to chip away at it.
"After her convention in August and into the first week in to September, she had a 9.2 percentage point lead."
Madonna said in the past no presidential candidate who's trailed that much, with so little time before the election has ever won the state, but don't count Mr. Trump out yet.
"This is a weird, unusual, crazy election as everybody has pointed out, but you cannot rule out 100 percent that trump can't win but it's a tall order."
Madonna said next week they are releasing a poll which takes a look at enthusiasm for the presidential nominees among each parties voters, He said this is an important poll because enthusiasm translates to voter turnout.
