Latest Gadgets Unveiled At Consumer Electronics Show In Las Vegas

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - The International Consumer Electronics Show kicks off today in Las Vegas -- and companies hope their new products will land on your wish list.
With more than 2,700 exhibitors and 20,000 gadgets expected to get shown off or talked up, there's bound to be plenty to drool over.
"The Ultrabook is basically the Windows world's way of catching up with Apple's Macbook Air."
Super-thin, super-light laptops, says CNET editor-at-large Brian Cooley.
"It has really long battery life, it's instant-on when you open the lid, like a tablet."
Then, there are cheaper, faster smartphones -- but not always smaller. Take the Samsung Galaxy Note, with a 5.3" display.
"I don't know that it's going to find traction, but it may be the next big thing -- literally, in smartphones, for folks who say I don't want to carry a tablet, but I would like to have a much bigger screen."
TVs are another big part of CES: look for Toshiba's 55" that lets you watch 3D without the glasses.
