Last Day To Fill Up Your Car Before Gas Tax Increase
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – If your car is low on gas, today is the day to fill up.
Prices in Pennsylvania are expected to go up on New Year's Day when the state's gas tax increases.
The gas tax jumps another 10 cents per gallon, making it one of the most expensive gas taxes in the country.
That extra money will pay for transportation projects.
Pa. drivers are already paying the most in gas in the area. A gallon of gas is $2.58 in the Keystone State. In NJ, the average price is just $2.27 per gallon, while Delaware's average is $2.42.
