Language Learning Website Ranks World's Sexiest Languages

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Just in time for Valentine's Day, a new survey of more than 5,000 people has revealed the world's sexiest language – and it's exactly what you thought.
The survey, commissioned by online language learning company Rocket Languages, found French is considered the sexiest language. In fact, 41% of respondents polled ranked it tops for seduction, while Italian, the second sexiest, pulled only 16% of the vote. Spanish came in a close third with 15%.
And when it comes to attractiveness, knowing multiple languages helps: 79% of those who responded to the survey said being multi-lingual makes you appear more attractive, while 77% rated those who can speak more than one language as more intelligent.
While the news for Americans – who have long held the reputation of being monolingual – may seem bleak, there is a silver lining: English came in the fourth-ranked sexiest language.
