La Salle University Shuttle Crashes In Olney; Driver Injured
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The driver of a La Salle University shuttle bus was injured overnight in a violent crash in North Philadelphia.
The accident happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday at Broad Street and Olney Avenue in the Olney section of the city.
Officials said it appeared the driver lost control of the van and struck a pole.
He was taken to the Albert Einstein Medical Center with minor injuries.
The driver was the only person inside the vehicle at the time of the crash.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
