La Salle U. Probing Business Ethics Seminar Featuring Lap-Dancing Strippers
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - La Salle University is investigating a business school seminar last month during which strippers allegedly gave lap dances to students.
La Salle has issued a brief statement saying it is "very concerned about" and is investigating the incident that reportedly occurred on March 21st, but declined any further comment.
The details of the incident are contained in a blog post on the City Paper web site, in which two students who were present at a seminar on "business ethics" say the professor invited three exotic dancers who dressed in bikinis or miniskirts and performed lap dances on the professor and some students before a university official interrupted.
They say the seminar was held by Prof. Jack Rappaport (right), who charged students $150 each and offered extra credit in his class.
Neither Rappaport nor his attorney responded to requests for comment.
On his university web page, Rappaport says he likes to use real life applications in his teaching, such as horserace betting to teach statistics.

His students, commenting on the "Rate My Professors" web site, indicate he is known as "an easy A."
