Philly Soccer Show: Getting Defensive With Sheanon Williams
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - We get defensive this week on the KYW Philly Soccer Show. Philadelphia Union defender Sheanon Williams joins KYW's Greg Orlandini and Philly Soccer Page writer Eli Pearlman-Storch on the podcast.
In Part one, Williams talks about the Union's winless streak, which has stretched into eight games after a scoreless draw with the Portland Timbers.
He also discusses something close to his heart: the "Miles for MJ" charity, which raises money and awareness about neurofibromatosis type 1, a terrible condition that affects the nervous system.

The team tries to get back to its winning ways against a team they lost to, 2-1, on the road. We also lament the fact that midfielder Keon Daniel might not return to the team this season after being unable to return to the USA from Trinadad and Tobago because of what is reportedly a visa issue.
The Union also picked up a young defensive prospect in English-born center back Joe Tait.
