PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- The Eagles finished their season 10-6 for the second straight season under Chip Kelly. However, this time, 10 wins wasn't good enough to get them into the tournament. After winning nine of their first 12 games, the Eagles lost three of their last four and Kelly is taking the brunt of the criticism for the devastating collapse.
Nevertheless, while the winter teams continue to struggle and the Phillies begin to rebuild their aging roster, the Eagles are still the "Kings" of the town.
3. Connor Barwin
Barwin had the best statistical season of his career recording 64 tackles, 14.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles---all career-highs. Barwin was selected to his first Pro Bowl.
2. Fletcher Cox
Cox, despite being snubbed from the Pro Bowl, made a name for himself during his third NFL season. While his numbers weren't tremendously gaudy---61 tackles, four sacks, three fumble recoveries, a forced fumble, and five "stuffs"---Cox was the Eagles most consistent defensive player all season long.
An NFL.com list ranked Cox as the 10th best defensive player in the game.
1. Jeremy Maclin
J-Mac bet on himself and he won big. Maclin entered 2014 on a one-year deal after returning from an ACL injury, hoping to prove his worth and earn a lucrative long-term deal, and that's exactly what he did. Mac tallied a career-high 85 catches and 1,318 yards (9th in NFL), while tying a career-high with 10 touchdown catches.
