Kickoff Changed For Eagles-Cowboys Game
NEW YORK (CBS/AP) -- Snow has nothing to do with it, but the Eagles game with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday afternoon has been moved from 1 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. as part of the NFL's flexible scheduling policy.
Also flexed to 4:15 EST next Sunday will be Jacksonville at Houston and Tennessee at Indianapolis on CBS, Chicago at Green Bay, and the New York Giants at Washington on Fox.
The Rams game at Seattle to decide the NFC West title has been moved to prime time next Sunday (8:20 p.m.) by the league. NBC will televise the match.
This means – of course -- that the NFC playoff picture won't be determined until the conclusion of the NFL's final game of the regular season.
St. Louis (7-8) leads Seattle by one game, but if the Seahawks win, they will become the first division champion with a losing record in NFL history.
The Eagles need wins on both Tuesday night against the Vikings and Sunday against the Cowboys, combined with a Bears loss to the Packers to secure a first-round bye and at least one home playoff game.
Green Bay gets an NFC wild-card spot by beating the Bears.
