Kentucky And Kansas Ready To Battle For NCAA National Title

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Two of the college basketball's most storied programs meet tonight in New Orleans for this season's national championship as Kentucky takes on Kansas.
The Wildcats are 37-2 and they advanced here on Saturday by beating Louisville in one national semifinal. The Jayhawks are 32-6 and they held off Ohio State on Saturday to get this shot.
Kentucky will be playing for an eighth national title while the Jayhawks are going for a fourth.
These two teams met back on November 15th in New York, during the regular season with Kentucky winning 75-65.
KYW's Matt Leon spoke with Joe Juliano, college basketball writer for the Philadelphia Inquirer, about the match-up and what he has thought of this year's tournament as a whole.
