Kelly Drive To Remain Closed Until Flood Waters Recede

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Based on the current river forecast and the strong probability of continued flooding, Kelly Drive will remain closed until flood waters have receded, authorities said.

The river is receding, but according to officials, the river is expected to rise again and then crest at almost 13 feet by 2 a.m. Friday based on current forecasts.

The Office of Emergency Management is urging everyone to stay off the roads until conditions have improved.
