Katy Perry Campaigns With Hillary Clinton In West Philadelphia
WEST PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Katy Perry held a concert Saturday night at the Mann Center in West Philadelphia to rally support in Pennsylvania for Hillary Clinton, and it was quite the star-studded event.
Debra Messing, Madeline Albright, Shonda Rhimes and local leaders took the stage to rally support for the Democratic ticket.
Hillary Clinton then took the stage, speaking to young voters.
"When your kids and grandkids ask you, 'where were you in 2016, when it was all on the line,' I want you to be able to say, I voted for a better, fairer, stronger America, where everybody has a chance at the American Dream," she said.
She introduced Katy Perry to Janet Jackson's song 'Nasty.'
First-time voter Kristen said she's excited to cast her vote.
"This election has been very long, very dragging, so I am ready to get out and vote," Kristen said.
Chris said he feels confident in his vote on Tuesday.
"I think she might be what she need in this country, with everything going on in the world."
Clinton will be back in town Monday night with President Obama and Jon Bon Jovi.
