Kamala Harris holds final campaign event before Election Day in Philadelphia on Art Museum steps
In her final campaign stop on Monday, Vice President Kamala Harris spoke to her supporters at a rally on the Art Museum steps in Philadelphia, one day before Election Day.
"So Philadelphia, you ready to do this? Are we ready to vote? Are we ready to win? It's good to be back in the City Brotherly of Love," Harris said.
Philadelphia is the city where Harris held her first rally with her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, in August at Temple's University Liacouras Center.
Harris and former President Donald Trump have both spent plenty of time in Pennsylvania with it being one of the biggest battleground states in the race for the White House.
Before Philadelphia, Harris made stops in Allentown, Reading and Pittsburgh. Trump was also in Pittsburgh and Reading and made a stop in Raleigh, North Carolina. He is scheduled to end his night in Michigan. Trump's running mate, Ohio Sen. JD Vance, campaigned in Bucks County on Monday night.
Thousands were in attendance for the rally at the bottom of the Philadelphia Museum of Art steps on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Harris also brought out star power for her final rally with Lady Gaga, The Roots, Ricky Martin, Freeway, Oprah, Fat Joe and others taking the stage.
In her speech, Harris urged supporters in attendance to have a plan to vote on Tuesday and to encourage loved ones to do the same.
"We need everyone to vote in Pennsylvania," Harris said. "And you will decide the outcome of this election, Pennsylvania."
