Judge To Arson Suspect: Ankle Monitor Or Jail
WOODBURY, N.J. (AP) — A judge has ordered an arson suspect to wear an ankle monitor after the man was allegedly found at the home where a fire was set in April.
Aaron Fletcher had been ordered not to have contact with his former residence in Swedesboro, Gloucester County. A fire was set there on April 3 in what authorities believe was an attempt to stop people from leaving the house. Seven people were inside at the time.
He's charged with attempted murder and aggravated arson
The Gloucester County prosecutor's office says Fletcher returned to the home on August 4. On Friday the judge said he'll return to jail if he's found there again.
Fletcher's lawyer says his client has a child custody agreement allowing him to pick up his daughter at the home.
