Jimmy Fallon And The Tonight Show Donate $1M For Hurricane Harvey Relief Effort

Philadelphia (CW Philly) -- NBC's "The Tonight Show" host Jimmy Fallon has announced that his made a generous donation of $1 million to the efforts for Hurricane Harvey, specifically towards Houston Texans' J.J. Watt's fundraiser.

"Last week, we saw the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey on the state of Texas. But in the face of this tragedy we saw good," he told viewers.

He credits those like Watt, who has raised more than $20 million to supply food and water to victims, and Mattress Mack, who opened up his mattress and furniture showrooms to people needing a place to sleep.

Fallon made the announcement on "The Tonight Show" Tuesday. Fallon is among the latest celebrities making donations towards the efforts of supplying food and water to the victims of Hurricane Harvey in Texas.
