By Mike DeNardo
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- A prominent journalist and law professor has been named the new head of the National Constitution Center.
You may have heard or read his legal commentary. Jeffrey Rosen is a law professor at George Washington University and legal affairs editor at The New Republic.
And now he is the new president of the National Constitution Center, at 5th and Arch Streets.
In an interview, Rosen, 49, said his great passion is moderating constitutional debates.
"The National Constitution Center is the one place in the country, and the world, that can play this unique role of being a neutral platform for debates on the most contentious issues of our age," he said.
Rosen becomes the center's fourth president, succeeding David Eisner, who resigned last October.
