Jay Paterno: 'The Truth Eludes The Media'
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Many were critical of Penn State's decision to honor the 50th anniversary of the late Joe Paterno last Saturday vs. Temple.

Dan Berstein, a CBS radio host in Chicago, called it a "national embarrassment." USA TODAY's Christine Brennan titled her piece, "What is Penn State thinking honoring Joe Paterno?"
Jay Paterno, Joe's son, fired back on Friday in an open letter to Brennan.
"The truth still eludes the news media's grasp, as evidenced by recent rehashing of reporting aboutPenn State Football and Paterno," Jay wrote via USAToday.com.
Jay Paterno also listed five facts opposing the narrative that Joe Paterno was an enabler to Jerry Sandusky.
