KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa. (CBS) -- Area ski clubs will be on display in a couple of weeks. If you're interested in an active outdoor lifestyle, make plans to spend Sunday, November 2nd, in King of Prussia!
To begin with, ski clubs are about more than skiing.
"We do golf outings, we do road rallies, and raft trips," notes Maddy Dundore of the Eastern Pennsylvania Ski Council, an umbrella organization representing more than 35 area ski clubs from Lancaster, Pa. to South Jersey.
On November 2nd, the council holds its annual Philly Ski and Snowboard Expo, at the Crown Plaza Hotel in King of Prussia. So what can we expect to learn about?
"Ski areas, ski shops, different organizations," plus local ski clubs, says Dundore.

There will also be a chance to pick up equipment bargains during the expo gear auction.
And look over the upcoming winter club trips to destinations as close as the Poconos -- or as exotic as the Swiss Alps.
