Jay Lloyd's Getaway: Papal Getaway Update

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- If you think you'll be getting out of town on the Papal weekend of September 26th and 27th, KYW Jay Lloyd has an update on availability and prices at some favorite destinations.
Space is available at most prime destinations, but getting tighter, with prices either racing or nudging upward.
New York City hotel rates are leaping. The room I have booked next week for $247 a night rockets to $729 for the Papal getaway weekend.
The Jersey shore is a mixed bag. Atlantic City has fewer available rooms than our last update, but prices are moving to the upper end of reasonable. Ocean City is getting tight with prices ranging from reasonable to high. Several popular Cape May hotels are sold out and rates are rising at others.
Rooms at and around Hershey Park are still available and reasonable. Pocono Mountain resorts still have rooms at reasonable rates in the west, higher, closer to the Delaware. By the way I consider reasonable to be rates not far off the seasonal norm.
