Jahri Evans' Agent: 'Philly Could Be A Match, But That's Up To Eagles'
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Six-time Pro Bowl guard and Philadelphia native, Jahri Evans, is a free-agent.
So naturally, the Frankford High School and Bloomsburg University native 32-year-old guard, has been linked to the Eagles -- a team looking to upgrade their offensive line.
"I mean, I agree," Evans' agent Jerrold Colton told the 94WIP Mike & Ike Show on Thursday. "Watching the Eagles where they have addressed situations, where are their main priorities, and where there are potential areas of need. And looking at it, it would seem that guard would be a position of need for the Eagles. They're not the only team that has a need, but certainly it could wind up being a match. But that's up to Howie Roseman and the rest of the brass at the Eagles."

Colton revealed that the New Orleans Saints asked Evans to take a pay cut for the second straight year, before releasing him last week.
"The Saints came to us for the second year in a row about doing a little contract adjustment, meaning a pay cut this year," Colton said. "We weren't going to do it again. He got released earlier this week and he is available as a free agent. And he is healthy and hungry and looking forward to the next chapter of his career and plans to play for a lot longer."
