DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (CBS) -- A Bucks County judge didn't mince words for a man sentenced to death today. Jacob Sullivan admitted to raping, killing and then dismembering his girlfriend's 14-year-old daugther, Grace Packer.
The judge told Sullivan, "You have no soul." The judge then said she has never said those words to anyone.
Eyewitness News talked to the Bucks County District Attorney Matthew Weintraub, who added the death penalty is all Sullivan deserves.
"This man will never see the light of day," DA Weintraub said. "He'll never be able to prey on a child again."

Forty-six-year-old Sullivan had no reaction after a Bucks County jury announced all 12 agreed on a death penalty verdict. But DA Weintraub had plenty to say.
"He got what he deserved, plain and simple," Weintraub said. "Death is the appropriate sentence for this man."
Sullivan admitted to raping, strangling and dismembering Packer in 2016. It happened after Grace's adoptive mom, Sara Packer, told Sullivan she wanted Grace out of her life.
Inside the Bucks County courthouse Thursday, at least one jury member was crying during the verdict. Judge Diane Gibbons thanked the jury, saying, "The butchery in this case was beyond my ability to describe. To live through it vicariously through the photos and the tapes and the recordings must have taken a toll."
"I wouldn't want to be a juror in a case like this," Weintraub said. "They have my admiration and respect for all times that they could sit through, let alone judge a case of this depravity, just inspires me and I will always be grateful for the great job."
Judge Gibbons also went on to say "We all let Grace down."
