SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico (AP) — Lewis Jackson scored 26 points, Robbie Hummel added 20 and Purdue pulled away from Temple 85-77 on Friday in the second round of the 5-Hour Energy Puerto Rico Tip-Off.
The Boilermakers will play either Alabama or Wichita State in the tournament final on Sunday.
The Owls will play the loser of the game between the Crimson Tide and Shockers in the consolation.
Jackson scored 10 points in the final three minutes, leading an 11-2 run. It was 67-all when the Boilermakers (4-0) took the lead for good on Jackson's three-point play and a pair of foul shots by Hummel.
Jackson made 10 of 11 free throws and Hummel made all six of his tries. A day earlier, Hummel finished with 24 points, including a 3 in the final minute that beat Iona 91-90.

The Owls, who opened the season with a win over Philadelphia rival, Penn, on Monday, were shooting for their third win in five days.
"It was a hard fought game. I thought both teams played pretty hard and I'm proud of our guys," Temple coach Fran Dunphy said. "Hopefully, we'll be able to rebound and play well on Sunday because we know that we will have a tough matchup."
Purdue, which scored 51 points in the second half, have now scored 80 or more in three of its four games. The Boilermakers were an impressive 24-25 from the line after halftime.
