Ivanka Trump: 'We Have Great Momentum Behind Us'
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Donald Trump's daughter, Ivanka, is confident heading into Election Day that he will emerge victorious in the race for the White House, telling Rich Zeoli on Talk Radio 1210 WPHT that things are moving in a positive direction for the GOP nominee in Pennsylvania, which may end up being the state that tips the contest in one direction or the other.
"It is looking very, very good. Some new polls have come out that show us tied or up in Pennsylvania and we have great momentum behind us."
Trump touted a campaign issue that she played a key role in crafting geared toward women, but also pointed out that female voters are not solely focused on an exclusive set of priorities.
"There certainly are issues that disproportionately effect women and that's part of the reason why we rolled out an incredible child care plan and though obviously child care is a family issue, not a woman's issue, it does disproportionately effect women. Single mothers and women are, more often than not, the ones providing unpaid care for both children and elderly dependents. I think his plan on that front is really an innovative and incredible one. All issues are women's issues. I say it all the time, but we don't often talk about men's issues. Women represent 50 percent of the population and we care about the same things men do. We care about jobs. We care about security. We care about prosperity. We care about upward mobility. We care about education."
