Ivanka Trump Hits The Campaign Trail, Making Stops In Suburban Philadelphia
MALVERN, Pa. (CBS) -- Ivanka Trump is barnstorming the Philadelphia suburbs today on behalf of her father, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
With stops in Chester, Delaware, Bucks, and Montgomery Counties, the day got off to a late start as her plane out of New York was delayed about two-hours due to fog.
Ivanka Trump was asked friendly questions at the campaign event, such as what is the best career advice she's learned from her father.
Her answer, he pushed them to try different things to help find their passions.
"You really unearth your passions over a period of time by trying things, and having small successes and that encourages you."
Ivanka Trump was not asked about recent headlines of comments made by – or allegations against -- her father. Trump supporters addressed them, though, blaming the Clinton campaign for trying to avoid the issues:
"No one expected Donald Trump to be like holier than thou when he was running. We all knew he was business man, I think they're resorting to the personal attacks because they fail on policy."
