Ivan Provorov, Travis Konecny Have Made The Flyers' Roster
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The Philadelphia Flyers will have two new, young and exciting 19-year-olds to watch this season.
Both Ivan Provorov and Travis Konecny have made the roster, as general manager Ron Hextall told reporters on Monday.
Provorov was the Flyers' seventh overall pick in 2015. The 6'0, 200-pound defenseman has been phenomenal during the preseason.

Konency was the Flyers' 24th overall pick in 2015. The speedy 5'10", 175-pound forward led the Flyers with six points and tied for the team lead with three goals during the preseason.
For the first time in a long time, the Flyers will have young players able to skate and create to compliment veteran players like Claude Giroux and Jakub Voracek. With Shayne Gostisbehere, Provorov, and Konecny the future looks bright for hockey in Philly. General manager Ron Hextall deserves a ton of credit.
The Flyers begin the regular season on Friday at the Los Angeles Kings.
